Children’s Division Classes
Ages 18 months - 8 years

The Children’s Division classes are year-round classes for new and returning students. These classes introduce children ages 18 months - 8 years to their first years of dance training. Classes build basic motor skills, coordination, rhythm, musicality, and creativity.
Placement is based on age and previous experience.
18 Months - 7 Years Old - Summer Programs
18 months – 3 years:
Moving Around the World
Explore the sounds, movement, and sights from around the world during this Summer Session for Littles! Over 5 weeks, our youngest dancers will explore: Argentina, Japan, Kenya, Spain, and India.

Date/Time: Saturdays, July 12-August 9, 9am-9:30am
3-4 Years:
Creative Movement
Dancers gain balance, strength, and coordination as they explore how their bodies move. This curriculum is carefully designed to introduce young dancers to a structured, safe classroom environment. Dancers will work on listening skills, following directions, and taking turns as they also learn the fundamentals of dance.

4 - 5 years:
Creative Movement
This is an introduction to dance for 4 and 5 year olds. Dancers will learn the basics of musicality as they get more familiar with movement and being in a classroom setting.

6 - 7 years:
Introduction to Ballet
This class is an introduction to the basics of ballet. Introduction to Ballet focuses on learning new steps, strength, balance, and coordination, while fostering a love for dance.

Date/Time: Saturdays, July 12-August 9, 11am-12pm
Required attire:
(skirts and sparkles welcome!)
Girls-pink leotard, tights and ballet slippers with hair secured in a bun.
Boys- Black stretch pants and a white t shirt with black ballet slippers.
