It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the appointment of Catherine Valdez Doyle as the Interim Executive Director of Rockford Dance Company. The Board of Directors is confident that Ms. Valdez’s expertise and dedication will be invaluable in guiding our organization through a transitional period.
Ms. Valdez will be assuming the role of Interim Executive Director immediately. In this capacity, she will play a crucial role in leading the organization through an organizational assessment to identify areas for growth. Additionally, Ms. Valdez will oversee daily operational needs, collaborate with the search committee to identify and hire a permanent executive leader, and set the stage for a successful strategic planning process in 2024.
Ms. Valdez brings a wealth of experience to her new position, with a strong foundation in human resources, operations management, and program development. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering community engagement, driving strategic initiatives, and successfully leading teams. Her diverse background, ranging from managing venues to directing program operations, aligns seamlessly with the vision and mission of Rockford Dance Company.
