Children’s Division

The Children’s Division classes are year-round classes for new and returning students. These classes introduce children ages 18 months - 8 years to their first years of dance training. Classes build basic motor skills, coordination, rhythm, musicality, and creativity.  Fundamental ballet terms and positions are introduced, along with folk and improvisatory dances.

Placement is based on age and previous experience.

Student Divison

The Student Division classes are year-round classes for new and returning students. Levels in this division are based on age, physical strength, and technique ensuring students can develop at a pace that matches their development and goals. Our curriculum stresses the importance of relating other techniques such as Modern and Jazz to the dancer’s ballet technique to create a well rounded dancer.

Dancers may enter this division starting at age eight.  A class placement is required for Ballet Level 2 and up, students older than nine, and new students coming from other schools.

The promotion to a higher level considers the amount of hours required in the training for each level. Students are promoted to higher levels according to their individual progress and attendance.

Adult Division

The Adult Division is growing! Currently, the division is a 90-minute dance class geared for adults who want to learn more about ballet and jazz in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

This class is also perfect for adults who have previous dance experience who may want to continue their dance journey or work on personal growth.

The class begins with ballet exercises at the barre, progresses with center ballet combinations, and ends with fun and upbeat jazz based combinations.
