The Rockford Dance Company is where dreams take flight! Our pre-professional company is dedicated to top-level training and performance opportunities for dancers who are serious about their craft. Company members train five times a week, honing their technical skills, musicality, and artistry to prepare for the next stage of their dance journey. Many of our alumni go on to study dance at the collegiate level, proving that hard work and dedication really do pay off.

Dance is more than just movement—it’s a blend of athleticism and artistry. Our Company dancers take classes in pointe, variations, modern, and musical theater, building the strength, flexibility, and creativity needed to excel. They’re not just athletes; they’re storytellers, using their bodies to express emotion and bring performances to life. From the studio to the stage, every step is a masterpiece in the making.

Auditions are held annually, and we’re looking for dedicated dancers who are ready to commit to a year of intense training and unforgettable performances. Company members train Tuesday through Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, with rehearsals on Saturday afternoons. They also perform throughout the community, becoming the face of RDC and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
Auditions for the Company will be held annually.
