The Studio
At Rockford Dance Company we’re proud to offer the stateline’s highest quality dance studios and welcome our local community to them! Learn a bit about each studio below, and contact us if you’re interested in renting studio space for your rehearsal, yoga session, or private dance session.
Studio 1
This studio is easily accessible for events where you may have a high flow of traffic; great for hosting group auditions or for public events. With premium, soft and slip-resistant Marley floor, this studio is perfect for your next groove session. With no viewing area, this space is great for those looking for a more private space to rehearse.

Studio 2
The largest studio we offer, this studio floor is an exact copy of the Coronado stage, perfect for blocking before taking the stage, or for those who dream to take it some day. It boasts two walls of floor to ceiling mirrors and windows, allowing for natural light to bounce throughout the space. This studio is fully equipped with sprung-sub floor and soft, slip-resistant Marley to ensure the perfect environment for dancing.

Studio 3
This is a smaller studio here at RDC, good for smaller groups. It has vast viewing space, so parents can easily keep an eye on their littles. This studio does currently have tile floor, which is perfect for line dancing, but might not be the best option if you’re looking for a space for other creative movement.

Studio 4
Tappers rejoice! This studio has tap-grade Marley flooring, so you can tap to your heart’s content! Not looking to tap? This is currently our only studio without barres, so it’s great for those looking to do work close to the walls (wall sits, anyone?).

Studio 5
Studio 5 lays off the beaten path in a quiet corner of the Riverfront Museum Park. Perfect for those looking for a quiet space to escape for practicing yoga, meditation, or just a more private space. With its rows of windows and bright walls, the light airiness of this studio is perfect for finding your peace in Rockford’s bustling downtown.
