Joan Stonecipher
Scholarship
It is the desire of the Joan Stonecipher Scholarship Board of Trustees to provide merit scholarship to an individual annually who has demonstrated an outstanding aptitude, desire, and dedication to the discipline of dance. To support these goals, the Joan Stonecipher Scholarship award amount is to be applied to tuition at the Rockford Dance Company. One Scholarship is awarded each year. Dancers at the Company level and Pre-Company Level may be considered.

Carolyn bailey Scholarship
A special scholarship opportunity specifically for Pre-Company and Company dance students enrolled in RDC classes. This scholarship is made possible by Carolyn and James Bailey, who were founders of the Rockford Dance Company in 1973 and continue to support RDC’s mission to this day.

RDC Financial Assistance
Rockford Dance Company is proud to financially support dancers of all ages and skill levels so that they are able to participate in RDC’s dance programs. This support is made possible through the generosity of donors that help RDC fulfill its mission to pursue excellence in the art of dance through performance, education, and outreach.

Applications are ongoing, however funds will be distributed until they are depleted so you are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
