Brooke has been a Rockfordian her whole life: having participated in the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) program from 4th through 8th grade. and graduating from Boylan High School. During those years, she danced with Rockford Dance Company until following one of the RDC instructors, Ted Jackson, who opened up his own studio and artistically directed, Tedrics. Brooke joined his competitive dance team, MidWest Movement and the rest is history!

Brooke attended Rock Valley College (RVC) and transferred to Northern Illinois University (NIU) where she completed her BS in Biological Sciences and picked up a Dance Performance minor. During her time at NIU, she taught jazz classes at RDC. Upon graduation, she joined Rockford Public Schools 205 as the CAPA Dance Teacher at Auburn High School’s main campus. Brooke also taught at Ellis Arts Academy. She left K-12 for higher education and began at RVC where she served in a variety of student services roles from First Year Experience, Academic and Transfer Advising, and Records and Registration. With a couple of professional stops in between, she is currently the Associate Vice President of Academics for Academic Operations and Assistant Professor of Education at Concordia University Wisconsin and Ann Arbor.

Brooke has recently gotten back to the joy of dance via Starlight Theatre, recently choreographing her second show for the 2025 season!
