DanceReach
DanceReach provides Rockford Dance Company students with an opportunity to expand their dance and performance experience. As a program of the School of Rockford Dance Company, DanceReach is open to all students eight years and older who are currently enrolled in ballet one or higher. Besides enriching the dance education of our students, the group enables us to bring dance to the community in exciting ways.
The DanceReach program serves as a training ground for future dance company members. The students learn valuable skills such as working as a team, developing strong relationships with each other as they progress, contributing to the choreographic process, and learning different dance forms and techniques to shape them into well rounded dancers. Members of DanceReach are acclimated to the amount of dedication and the sense of pride it takes to participate at the company level. DanceReach repertoire covers a wide range of dance forms, including ballet, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theater.
DanceReach rehearsals are from 9:00am - 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The schedule for rehearsals will remain on Saturdays, with additional performances to be announced throughout the year. You can find the Dance Reach Schedule on this website under the Dance Reach Calendar.
