Children's Division
The following classes are offered for the Children's Division:
Pre-School Dance
For children three (3) years old. Emphasis is on movement and development of gross motor skills. One class per week. (Students must be three (3) before the beginning of the fall or spring session.)
Attire
Uniform pink leotard, tights and ballet shoes. Hair should be secured off of face.*

Creative Dance
For children four (4) years old. Emphasis is placed on shape, space, and response to different sounds or rhythms heightening awareness both of the body and how it moves through space.

Beginning Ballet/Tap
A combination class offered for children five (5) years old. Simple rhythms, basic positions and terminology are taught.

Uniform pink leotard, tights and ballet shoes. Hair should be secured off of face.*

Beginning Ballet I & II
Six (6) and seven (7) year old students are introduced to the beginning ballet syllabus focusing on alignment, coordination, flexibility and strength. An important component of this level is the introduction to folklore dance. Students enjoy the opportunity to display emotion, develop style, work on rhythms and spatial patterns while working in a group.
Attire
Uniform lavender leotard, black character skirt, pink tights and ballet shoes. Hair should be secured in a bun.*
