
Margaret C. FaustArtistic Director
Margaret brings to the Rockford Dance Company, as Artistic Director, more than 30 years of experience as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. She has danced with Ballet West, Fort Worth Ballet, Bodyworks Dance Ensemble, Northern Dance Theatre and Salt Creek Ballet Company. Margaret's formal training includes a B.F.A. in ballet from Texas Christian University and a M.F.A. in ballet from the University of Utah. She has studied professionally with Richard Ellis, Christine DuBoulay, David Howard and Larry Long among others. A prolific choreographer, her ballets have been performed throughout the country. Margaret has taught extensively for the past 30 years throughout the U.S., in both professional studios and university dance programs.
Bailey Glavan Baily Glavan started dancing at the age of three, performed with DanceReach for five years, and is currently in her third year as a company member. She is a junior attending Hononegah High School. Her most recent performances include: The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Rhapsody In Blood. She is a recipient of the Joan Stonecipher Scholarship, an award she also received in 2006. In the summer of 2008, she attended the Milwaukee Ballet School Intensive. Her choreography was recently presented in the Young Choreographers' Concert.
Marina Ragonese-Barnes Marina is a senior at Auburn High School and began studying with the Rockford Dance Company in the third grade. She has been passionate about dance ever since. At age fifteen she joined the company. Her performances include The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Russian Nights and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Her choreography was recently presented in the Young Choreographers' Concert.

Martha has been dancing with The School of Rockford Dance Company since the spring of 2006. In 2007 she became a trainee of the company, in 2008 she became an apprentice, and this year was promoted to full company. Martha has been dancing since the age of 3. She danced with Tacoma City Ballet and was a junior company member with Dance Theatre Northwest under the direction of Melanie Kirk-Stauffer. The summer of 2008, Martha was chosen to study with The Milwaukee Ballet's six week summer intensive program. Performances with RDC include The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Russian Nights, Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty.
